Army Surplus Bear Jacket on Winter

In the middle of February, to keep you warm in a bitter cold, you most likely already have a heavy-weight fleece jacket. Heavy- weight fleece jackets usually cost big bucks and not all of us can afford to spend hundred or more dollars. Instead, you are limiting yourself from outdoor activities in the winter because you only have a low budget. But there’s no need to worry because I have a solution for that. You can keep your body warm and your wallet fat with the Army Surplus Bear Jacket.

Let me begin by saying that the Bear Jacket is an army surplus which is not in low quality. Some people might be mistaken with the cheap far-east imitations that are not only in low quality but will fall apart quickly. This Bear Jacket is very genuine. Aside from that, this kind of jacket gives you a very warm feeling. In fact, it is so warm that I unzipped it while having a hike on 22F day because I feel so hot and I’m already sweating a lot. This jacket is made up from a fur-like insulation material that lines inside of it. It also has two slit pockets to keep your hands also warm. Its faux-shearing is muck alike to that you may have seen on the collars of other jackets. What makes it different is that it is warmer, softer and longer. Since overheating could become a trouble, the designers added armpit vents that are made from durable water proof and breathable nylon. It is responsible of letting out heat while keeping the elements out which the zipper vents cannot offer. The bottom of the forearms, the shoulders, the two 6 inch wide and 7 inch deep pockets are reinforced by the nylon. With the confidence that nothing will through your fleece, its durability lets you carry out and do camp tasks. The substantiated portions have insulation underneath and are not vents. In a good way, this jacket is very simple. Like most surplus products, there is no need to worry about failing. At the end of the sleeves, there Velcro closures which allows you to do adjustments of the cuffs around your wrists. Wearing gloves will be even better. To make the operation easy with gloves or mittens, the zipper has two long nylon pull tabs and has never hooked or came undone. These pockets made with large openings for the use of gloves. These are some of the features of the Bear Jacket sports.  As what I have said that this jacket is simple, there is no other drawback than its pack ability. It is wherein its size is still of a small bedroll, whether you roll or fold the jacket.

Its simplicity, durability and the amount of warm that can give to you are the marks of an Army Surplus Bear Jacket that you can purchase on a very affordable price. You might say that it is cheaper than others because it is just an imitation, but it’s not. Believe me for I have tried it and it really does work.
